Darkglass Electronics B3K Bass Distortion Pedal

The bassist in my band (I'm a guitarist) has been playing with the Darkglass Electronics B3K pedal for months now, and it's really improved his tone especially on the harder/heavier parts. In fact I can't actually imagine him not using at this point.

Just curious what other Bass Distortion pedals you guys are using and why. Definitely would be curious to hear from anyone who has current experience with the B3K.

i've recently acquired a sansamp bass driver DI and it is most excellent. a bit pricey but definately worth it for the tube emulation imo. i think behringer does a similar pedal for a much lower price but i have no experience with it. i also use a bass big muff and for 45 you really cannot go wrong.

I usae a SansAmp RPM rackmount preamp. If it's good enough for Geddy Lee, then it's good enough for me.
