First paying job... A Harp???
So my teacher bought a harp kit years ago and failed to put it together. She's seen my work and now wants me to finish the build for her.

I'll admit it, I didn't see this one coming.

Does anyone have any experience with building a harp?

I feel like if it doesn't have a flame top or emgs %90 of this forum wouldn't care. So obviously, you'll need lots of emgs. And flame maple.

Or, if he's going for a speedier approach, just put on a maple top thats actually on fire!

Do the EMGs go in series or parallel?

It occurs to me that i have not been posting my work.

Here's a couple shots of one I have handy that I did for my girlfriend's daughter for Christmas.





I learned an important lesson about hiring out artwork that I could have done myself, basically don't unless you feel free to chew out the artist.

Guitars are really hard to draw, man. :P

Anyway, I was expecting harp pics. Looking forward to some 26-string action.
