Hey guys, just recorded a new song entitled Progness. It's not mastered, but it's mixed and all that. Critiques always welcome. Thanks for listening!

I actually liked it. It gets a little bit repetitive in the intro, try spicing it up a little. Otherwise, great ideas!

thought the lead guitar on the first half could be forward in the mix more. maybe play it twice and pan them out L/R to give the mix more fullness. gets drowned out by the 2nd guitar in my headphones. what are you using for drums?

nice melodic lines, sweat break with its bass work and changeup. good song format but needs vocals to finish the tune.

Thanks for the feedback! Actually, the lead line in the beginning is double tracked and panned L and R. Probably being over powered because the rhythym is triple tracked. I'll throw another in the center to fix that.

The drum program I use is called Drum Track. It's free.

Thanks again! I appreciate it!

thanks for the crit! This track is awesome. My only suggestions (and this is just personal preference, not an actual problem with the track) would be to MAYBE bring the bass up slightly, but im not sure how that would affect the track, so I'm not sure. I love the clean break around 1:50 with the wailing lead. Nice track man!

Thanks so much! I definitely agree, and already did another mix with some quick adjustments, (such as bringing the bass up). Also turned up the drums a hair too. (I have to hear the cymbals!). I'll get the new mix posted up here in a bit. Thanks again!

Loved this man! Especially after the 1:40 point. Those high pitched notes are great. One of the more original things ive heard on here. The intro sweeping is pretty cool as well. I agree with some people above that that part should be a bit louder. However, its also ok the way it is. I love the rhythm guitars, they are pretty simple for the most part but fit perfect. Overall though, the 1:40 part is def the best part of the song. I LOVE the clean line, and as i said, the lead over that. That part alone takes the song to another level of coolness haha. Great job, I dug it!

Thanks a lot bro! The intro arpeggio section was intended to be written as if a keyboard was playing it, so I didn't want it to overpower everything else that was going on, but I'll definitely experiment with turning that up.

The clean part it my favorite too! I'm probably going to redo the siren lead though, it's a little off key in some spots.

Thanks so much! I appreciate the crit!
