This is pretty cool - that section beginning around 0:30 is very reminiscent of the Red Hot Chili peppers to me, although that might not have been you intention, heheh. And again, at around 1:17, very Californication era Chili sounding. Musically, I quite like this piece, despite it not being my usual bag. As it stands now, the mix of the track seems a little flat, if you get what I mean? Kinda like it's missing something, but I can't put my finger on it. That's probably not particularly helpful, but... yeah. One thing I do appreciate though is the bass being fairly high and clear in the mix, that's big bonus for me seeing as a lot of people seem to mix it fairly low down. I can only hope this was a useful post for you, and if it was, would you mind giving this track a listen?
