Uk Supplier Of good guitar parts
Hi all
I'm desperately trying to find a good United kingdom supplier of guitar parts (tremolo systems, pickups, nuts, machine heads ect). It needs to be one that takes online payment from a credit card. Thanks in advance |

Do you want name brand products like Grover,Schaller,Seymour Duncan?
Or are you looking for good but inexpensive parts? This site is in the USA, but they have good inexpensive parts, pickups and they ship world wide. www.guitarfetish.com in the UK, guitarguitar, andertons are just a few store that have online stores. Iron gear,Tone Rider have good less expensive pickups in the UK

Guitarfetish is pretty good and cheap. There are quite a few people on this forum from other countries that use them.
I use them on all my budget builds and the quality is pretty good for the price. There are several diff types of their pickups that are really nice so if you have any questions just ask.

Here's a list of ones that I have bookmarked, some I've used, some I haven't:
http://www.touchstonetonewoods.co.uk/ http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/ http://www.axesrus.co.uk/ http://www.simscustom.com/html/home.htm http://www.allparts.uk.com/Allparts-home-c-276.html http://www.axetec.co.uk/ (Home of IronGear pickups, budget yet awesome!) http://www.guitarpartsshop.co.uk/ http://www.guitar-parts-and-spares-uk.co.uk/ Enjoy ![]() EDIT: Don't forget Ebay, many of the above actually sell through Ebay too, and often have more items available. Some of the above sites are a bit of a pain if you're unsure on sizes, as descriptions can be lacking. Some of them are excellent and include diagrams with their pictures like Axetec, who rock! I've actually just bought another load of stuff from them this evening... Don't tell the wife >.> Last edited by manikmunky : 02-10-2013 at 04:57 PM. |

Axesrus are the best if you want basic parts as quickly and cheaply as possible; Allparts and WD Music, between them, cover most more expensive parts and are also usually pretty quick; Strings Direct are the most expensive and have the most limited range, but they offer some real high-end parts that most other shops don't bother to keep in stock. Of all the shops I've used, those are the ones with the best customer support and quickest delivery.
