i currently have a mg15fx. im thinking of upgrading. i have a choice between a marshall mg 412 or a marshall avt412. i havent used stacks before? how wud these sound with a pod hd500? and what should be their reasonable price?

my budget is around $500. im into hard rock metallica etc. i need a gig amp. im located in pakistan.

If I had a choice between playing on a Marshal MG and being dead, I'd probably choose being dead. Don't buy a Marshall unless its a tube amp. And if you already have a pod and like the way it sounds, just get the cheapest amp you can find around 100 Watts. Preferably with a good clean channel to run your pedal into. You should be able to find something decent at that price range.

If you don't already own a pod you could probably save the money and do better.

A used Marshall DSL40c? That's the cheapest entry into the Marshall tube category. Not a bad amp either.

A Laney VC50 would be a good alternative. I'm selling one but it might be hard to ship it to Pakistan .

nothing compares to a line6 dt series amp when using a hd500. although slightly out of your budget

any amp with an effects loop? just plug the pod into the return and let your pod shape all your tone. its what i did for a while. played the hard rock cafe with that set up and it sounded great!...... but then you know, i went tube. (end of story)

Theres an option to choose country on the top right, when you change it to Pakistan all the products change. I emailed them anyway to findout if theres anyway i can get a peavey. Thanks alot for you help btw

The Bugera? It's a nice amp. At least, I like it. Played a Gibson SG through it, sounded nice.
