So today is Shrove Tuesday. It is a time when we consume high quantities of fatty foods before we fast for Lent aka to stuff your face full of pancakes.

I really don't understand the appeal of pancakes. They just don't taste of anything at all to me and the texture is really ew.

Pancakes are exactly okay. I can eat them and enjoy them, but they'd never be my first choice. Which is why I hate going to IHOP as a vegetarian because they always have to be my first choice.
