Getting a Powered PA Speaker for my MultiFX... Gem Sound BA-200?
I've gone way to long without a loud amp in my possession. Can't play drums with friends anymore and it sucks. Got some tax return money in and was looking to spend around $100 to get myself a used powered speaker to use with my DigiTech RP355.
Anyways, on that I found so far is a Gem Sound BA-200. It's on Craigslist in my area for only $50, but it doesn't have a power cable with it. How much do those cost? Or could I use my Peavey Vypyr's old power cable? Well is a Gem Sound BA-200 a good PA Speaker? I know I want a Powered PA Speaker since It'll make my pedal sound near to identical as it does when I play live.

The cable from your old amp should work just fine. Always check to make sure of course. You can pick them up at any radio shack or computer store. And if memory serves me right then Gem sounds were pretty good. Just keep shopping till you find the one that screams at you. Good Luck. |

I'm meeting with this guy tomorrow to make sure it works. If it does - I think Im going to get it! $50 really is a steal for a 12" Powered PA Speaker
