Shock mount for Shure KSM27
Hi guys,
I have a Shure KSM27 but I need a shock mount for it. Just curious, will I need the exact model shock mount to suit the microphone or can I buy a universal one somewhere to fit the microphone + stand. If not, I'll probably need to buy one which will cost me close to $100 including shipping to Australia. Thanks! |

Do you know the diameter of the thread on the microphone? If you do, then it should just be a simple case of finding a thread that fits.

Does your local shop(s) sell any generic shockmounts? If they do, you could take your mic along & try it for size.

Quote:
Shock mounts don't screw onto the mic usually.
