Love this, very original to me. Put a smile on my face, just the groove of it. Haha. I'd love to hear more.
I listened to Move A Mountain on your Soundcloud, too. I liked that one a lot, too. Keep it up, post your new stuff in the future. ![]() |

DG,
You don't hear music like this very often on this website, especially with that brass section (which sounds quite nice). Organ sounds nice. Lead guitar fits in well. Nice recording! Please review my music at this link: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1586943 |

definitely did not expect the horns. i like how its 2 layers of guitar, with 2 completely different tones. the one tone is really dirty and distorted while the other has a muffled phaser like blues effect, it comes out really good. the drums are smooth too and the effects like the one at 0:59 (how did you get that sound, sounds like a string breaking) are pretty dope. overall good stuff man!
c4c my song? http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1588042 |

that's a backing practice track? remember jamming out to one myself back in the day.
i'm a big fan of the backing guitar sound. lead guitar has too much reverb for it to cut through the mix and be the focus of the tune i thought, but i enjoyed the old school blues chops, overall very nice job c4c, dirty blues jam also: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1588316 |

Thanks for the input. I have no idea what that sound was haha, it seems to just randomly occur sometimes when i use my iRig. I was just messing around in Garageband and using Amplitube. Quote:
I dont believe in this too much reverb thing that you speak of. Haha. Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks man, I used garageband to create the "backing track" using loops and whatnot, and then just recorded my guitar over that. I definitely want to try and come up with a more in-depth track, it seems a lot of people were really digging on the horns and whatnot.

Hey man great playing! My only criticisms I can really offer is that sometimes your vibrato felt a bit out of tune and a bit inconsistent but it still sounded good
And also I think it could have been a bit more fluid, you had a tendecy to be very statemental (not a bad thing) but several times it came off as extremely stacato and abrubt. But besides that you played some cool lines! C4C: http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1588282

Thanks Sean. Yea, vibrato is something im always working on, but arent we all? Unless your B.B. King of course. The statemental thing probably comes from copious amounts of SRV listening. Although I would never compare myself to him, we are what we listen to right haha.
