What size pots

Hey I have recently ordered an Ibanez RGA32, but want to switch out the pickups and re-string it as soon as i get it. The only thing is, it comes with 50k pots and The pickups I want to put in it (active emgs) need 25K pots. What width and length shaft would fit my guitar? Ie do i need long or short shaft? Do i need it to be 8mm or 6mm wide etc. Thanks

short shaft will be fine, and mesure the hole to see what diameter they are

Would these be okay? Or will they be too long? Couldnt I just put a few nuts on it to shorten it if it was too long?

24mm is the housing size. Shaft length isn't listed there as far as I saw but that's a short shaft pot. Long shaft ones look like this.
