So this is a song that I'm currently re-evaluating. The drums are pretty old and need a do-over, which I'm going to give them in due time (probably).
The part before the solo might seem drawn out in the .gp file cause there are obviously no vocals there but oh well, what can you do?

I guess the song's supposed to kinda feel like "Oh ****, we're all doomed -> new hope on the horizon" kinda fantasy-ish themed. Does it pull that off at all? Does it totally suck (I know the bass sucks) or is it somewhat okay? What type of metal would you call it? I'm somewhat at a loss cause instrumentally, I seem to often drift into Power-ish ways but while I lyrically sometimes drift into that realm, it often crosses over to something that I'd find in Gothic and or some (Melodic) Death Metal outfits... o.o

C4C of course applies and you should probably ignore my ramblings from the last line...

Dude that was epic music. good work its defintely something along the lines of melodeath alot more keyboard going on too which is cool with the melodys but that looks like it took quite awhile to make im impressed dude. did you write the stuff on guitar pro for on one instrument?

Haven't actually checked out Wintersun yet. I always wanted to but the album is expensive as shit where I live and I have passed the times when I downloaded stuff illegally :p Will definitely check them out though, thanks for reminding me off them and thanks for the kind words as well.
Have written this one purely on Guitar Pro (well, actually Tuxguitar) without laying a hand on my guitar before the song was actually "finished".

And about the mixing, yeah... I dunno, I've just really never played around with that a lot ^_~
