Hi everyone! I want to learn how to play the guitar. It's my dream as a child and now I finally own one. I hope to learn the basic and advance techniques here and everything else in between.

Listen to your guitar heroes, play what your guitar heroes play, learn how and why they do it
Example: Learning how to solo dawned on me mainly listening to Ace Frehley... I recognized certain themes he used in every solo and that's how scales/modes/licks clicked... Just learn the mechanics of playing something and eventually look at the reasons after reading various things about guitar online
