How to get started on slap guitar?
I've been playing my acoustic a lot more than my electric lately. I'm getting significantly better at incorporating percussion techniques into my playing, and i'm wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to start with slap guitar? I was jamming with a bass player today and it was just so ****ing cool and funky. I feel like it's something i just have to incorporate into my acoustic playing now.
If anyone knows any cool funky and easy slap songs or just any advice really it would be much appreciated. I know next to nothing about slap guitar but i'm finally ready to learn

Gutherie Govan has a few instructional videos on this technique kicking about Youtube, check them out. I can't do it for squat though!
