I haven't tried out those, but I just put a set of the hot lil' killers in my strat.
I'm super impressed so far. My strat is actually hotter and fatter then my LP?? The have a great bite to them. Great for rock/hardrock. Based on the lil' killers, I recommend them, for the price you cant beat it.

Yah, its not like id be losing much with these. The specs are almost better than the fender cs pickups for like a 1/3 of the price. I'm gonna order a set and try them out

I put the GFS 63 set in my strat and they sound great. And they do the 2/4 positions nicely, with the reverse wound you get no hum at all.

GFS makes good sounding stuff, but the quality is always questionable. Regardless, they get the job done.

GFS pickups are... hm. They aren't bad by any means but they aren't amazing either. As usual it all boils down to personal preference. For more vintage-style tones I think they can keep pace with most Duncans and DiMarzios out there, but as has been said above, since their stuff is made in China for the most part the quality control can be on the inconsistent side.
When it comes to GFS I am less likely to trust their pickups, but I hear their Xaviere guitars are almost unbeatable in their price range ($200-300) and their pedals are very good. |

at their price point, its less about the cost of the parts and more about the cost of the labor.
are you installing them yourself? well then F it. cant really lose except for time wasted and maybe a lil bit cash..... if it were me, i would put in the GFS pups with that new seymour duncan liberator quick pickup change thing http://www.seymourduncan.com/produc...es/liberator-1/

I have used the GFS Fat Pat, it is a really good pickup onpar with the Dimarzio SD and Duncan SH4. GFS VEH is a good pickup if you want that EVH style hot HB. The GFS Lil' Puncher Hot lead set is alright, but they can get muddy quick. The GFS Dream 180 is not a pickup for me either, very bass heavy
