Feel like im stuck...
Hey UG community i have been playing guitar for about 1 year and i feel like im stuck :S i dont really know what to do to advance my skill. I feel like im not gaining speed or talent. I joind a theater performance at my school and im playing guitar there and i take guitar lessons every week. If you have any excersises or schedules or tips please help me.

Just be patient and dont rush yourself! Taken all of us every minute of practice to get to where we are. If your still hungry for more start grabbing books of your favorite bands and go from there or talk to your teacher like Freepower mentioned.
Rushing gets nobody anywhere no matter what your doing and learning an instrument is no different. Patience young grasshoppah!!!!!

Far from it sir. Just 11 years of playing behind me. We all start in the same place and had all the same questions. Just keep on playing and all the scales and chords will start to make sense.
