What it says about us is that humans are not God, and if a species is going, theres nothing we can do about it, just like we can't stop humans from dying.

I don't hate pandas, but I definitely see her point that they're maybe getting too much attention. Much like almost all of the money for Cancer Research goes to breast cancer, despite that Breast Cancer doesn't kill the most people. Its just the "popular" cancer, and Panda's are the "popular" endangered species.

I like pandas, they're cool and all, but pretty much useless. They don't even contribute to the food chain. Are bamboo forests running rampant over in Asia? No? Do any other animals rely on them for sustenance? No? Then who cares. There is no reason really for them to exist. It's mostly their own fault for not wanting to ****. Species die out every day, it's nature. Just let them go gracefully, god damn.

OT: No. Especially in a country like China where poverty is prevalent. Stop trying to save something you didn't hunt out of existence. I'm not even sure pandas want to live, their females ovulate for like a week and their diet is shit. They're trying to kill themselves, putting this much time, effort and money into it is useless - put it somewhere else.
