reverb pedal rec's?

Hey guys, been toying with the idea of adding a reverb pedal. I have no experience with these...no joke. I've never owned a reverb pedal or owned an amp with an onboard reverb. Why is another story...anyway, so The band I'm in plays heavy, psychadelic-tinged sludge groove kinda stuff. Think Tool+Melvins+Pink Floyd. I'm not looking for super wet post-rock sounds, Just something to add a little atmosphere and ambient feel to certain passages in the music. To make it seem a little "bigger" price isn't much of an issue, really, the only major concern I have is space....I dont have room for a large pedal like an eventide, a standard size pedal would be ideal, but i do have a little room to spare if it needs to larger, like a holy grail or something. thanks.

The Nano Grail does a great job as well for a basic reverb. If you need something with more sounds and tweakability, give the Hardwire RV-7 and the TC Electronics Hall of Fame a try. Both are fantastic and highly recommended around here.

The hall of fame is really good, really flexible, and small. It's got a lot of different modes so you can mess around with all of the, and figure out what kind of reverb you like. Guitar enter's used site has some of them for 100 dollars so they're a good deal.

+1 for the hall of fame, I own the trinity version of the pedal from ProGuitarShop and I owned the holy grail and its no competition between the two hall of fame all the way. Even at their new price points its worth the extra 20-30 bucks.

I've never heard anything bad about Tc electronics so that's news to me.
