12ax7/ecc83
Does anyone have experience with a Ei 12ax7 in the phase inverter position?
Or any good 12ax7 recommendations?

Well Ei is a rebranded tube what is the code?
I find that the NOS JAN-GE/Phillips 5751 works really well you can find them at www.tubedepot.com $30ish

The Ei is a company that made Telefunken 12ax7/ECC83 after Telefunken shut down. They used the same machines that Telefunken used. The Ei 12Ax7 isn't the same as the telefunken in quality.

i am very happy with current production tung sol and jj tubes.
i rock a 12at7 NOS in the PI spot, and am very happy with the change. dont think ill put a 12ax in there again unless an amp specifies that it doesnt like the ats there
