need new axe for metal, help me out
i'll play your game.
budget: under $1000 favorite artists: Ryan Knight Preferences: superstrat, decently thin neck, 24 frets pickups: EMG 81/85 or 81/60, would also be willing to try something with blackouts new or used: either is fine location: Boston current gear: ibanez rg350ex i need a floyd one extra thing, i would like the body to be black, and all the hardware be black. maple fretboard if possible, but that might be asking too much. thank you for your time. |

Hate to be that dude, but what amp do you have?
perhaps you could swap out pups or something along those lines and achieve what you want.

$700 isn't exactly "cheap" But it's apparently pretty nice, I haven't tried one for myself (YET)

If you're willing to give seven strings a try I would recommend looking into the loomis signature schecters (I think theres a black one now, which includes all black hardware)
The neck isn't as thin as ibanez, but its thinner then the blackjack and hellraiser schecters. Comes with a Floyd Rose, EMG 707s, Maple Fretboard, 24 frets, and an extended scale. The extended scale, and smooth fretboard make for a beautiful guitar to play. |
