If it works yes. You can resell it for a profit if you don't like it

They typically sell for $250-$400 used depending on condition, so $80 is a good deal, but you may not like the sounds that it produces.

Where did you find one for $80? That seems ridiculously low.

well people here in my country are not really big fans of jazz/clean tones so the guy who is trying to sell it is leaving the country and since nobody was buying it he is trying to sell it cheap

You will love the clean. James Hetfield clean amp of choice for many years. You will not be pleased with the O.D but the clean itself is worth every penny. $80 is a good deal IF she works.

Well, then depending on where you are, you may not be able to sell it for a profit. If it works though, $80 is a sweet price.

New JC120 in Thomann costs 1200 so $80 is a great price. And I'm sure you can make a profit if you don't like it. Even if it was a Marshall MG, you could make a profit with it. $80 is very cheap price for almost any amp (of course not a starter pack amp but pretty much anything else). But it's pretty much The clean amp so I'm pretty sure you will like its clean sound. People also say that it works well with pedals.

But I'm not sure if the amp works because the price is so low. If you can try it, buy it. And even if it didn't work, you could maybe take it to somebody who could repair it.

That's completely insane. I would think you're getting screwed. Better check that it's in working order before putting your money down.

make sure it works, because $80 for one of the nicest clean tones going around is almost too good to be true

If it works, buy it. If nothing else it will make a fine, reliable backup amp. For $80 how can you go wrong?

The distortion on a jc120 is a joke. I don't know why they even bothered.

Buy it. It's got some of the best clean tones of all time. So many people used them as part of a multi amp rig for this very purpose. Great amps
