I vote Vypyr 60 but that is just because I hate the Spider Valve. Sure you can dial in some decent tones with it but overall it is a bit too computer sounding for me and not user friendly.
Also, I'm reading on the Peavey site you can use up to 5 effects simultaneously Offworld. How does that work? http://www.peavey.com/products/vypyr/

Spider Valve, extremely user friendly, gett he FBV pedal board for it aswell, spend a little time tweaking the settings (master volume & channel volume mainly on the presets) and your good to go.

No idea. Maybe they count the looper?
Anyway yeah definitely agreed on the Spider sounding digital.

+1 the is the first line 6 'spider' i took seriously when demoing it. it didn't deliver IMO (just like every other amp with 'spider' in it's name). i didn't like it, seemed overly complicated. you could dial in a tone, but i would never go on stage with one. as far as what line6 did right was the cab... 4x12" V30's and they go for $250 used all day. can't beat that if you need a cab and want V30's. the vypyr tube is richer, stupidly simple and it sounds good and all around better. the only thing i don't know goes for both of them. the foot switch. how much does the foot switch do for the Line6 (i didn't have a chance to try one either. and how much does the sanpera II do from peavey? (from what i have seen a lot), but never have played one.

The Sanpera II is great. Besides the obvious letting you switch between your patches and having a looper, it has a manual mode which lets you control both of your FX, your delay and your reverb manually (the 1-4 buttons do that when the mode is changed).
It has a separate wah and volume pedal, so you don't have to toggle between them or select them as one of your FX, they're both always there.

Im not an effects player myself, but I also enjoy chaining some of them so 4 is cool for me. Im extremely exceptical about the peavey, just because it looks cheap, but is really more "versatile" and with that I mean more stompboxes and more options.

The SV is probably slightly more versatile in terms of FX.
Have you played a Vypyr Tube? I strongly agree with 311 & trashedlostfdup that it sounds far superior (meaning, it sounds far more "real") than the SV. It does look cheap and ugly, I agree. Mainly because the controls are on the top - that's never a good look. But the sound is there.

I owned a SV HD100 for several yrs and the FX are not that great, But I personaly think it sounds better and is more versitle than the Vypyr tube It does take a long time to get patches that you are happy with(like over a yr for me) Byut unless you need an extreme amount of versitility from an amp, don't think about the SV or Vypyr at all. Just get a good amp like a JSX,DSL,VH100r and be done with it. All 3 are versitile and much better than the Vypyr or the SV

After testing the two final amps, VYPYR and SPIDER VALVE, I've choosen the SPIDER VALVE MK II because it sounds better for my ears and seems better built. Also it has all the effects I'll need in years and sounds good enough for live situations, because my SLX will be always at the studio. Thanks for all the info, you guys rock!!
Don't hate the SV just because the presents, tweak 'em for a while, it worth the time.

With the spider, did you get the FBV? If not look atthe FBV express at the least, and get the spidervalve edit app for pc from line 6's site.
This lets you tweak all the presets and you own settings with ease on the pc, as a good starting point set the Master volume on the amp to 3/4, then on the presets change all the channel volumes to 30 and the pedal min vol to 4 and pedal max vol to 40. This is were after hours of tweaking i found the best spot to be, from there you can adjust accordingly.

Next week for sure, we have two holidays and will be difficult to pick up the package. I need to be patient and I can't.
