Soundtoys Little Microshift - FREE!

"Little MicroShift™ is three classic versions of the widening/spacial effect of micro pitch-shifting in one super easy to use plug-in , and it's totally free (for a limited time)."

You'll need an iLok to use it

https://www.soundtoys.com/sxsw2013/&rc=324-8201-536

If it doesn't auto-fill out the redemption code, it's 324-8201-536!

Enjoy!

Ta Matrix, had seen a post on Facebook about it but forgotten to check it out. And yeah, I used your code for you, if it works how I think it does

Meh, whole lot of hassle for an ok-sounding chorus.

I will never support a company that uses iLok.

1) It's not a chorus.

2) You're shutting yourself off from some amazing software just because you dislike the iLok.

Personally I don't see the problem - I can go into any studio, anywhere in the world and use those plug-ins just by having my iLok with me. Much better than downloading a license to each computer, or only having software allowed on one computer.

This, huge this. I've had issues with some companies *cough*ikmtemedia&xlnaudio&line6*cough* with their activation processes. I've never had an issue with any iLok plugin.

I've never seen the big deal with people having problems with iLoks, they're simple as shit to use.

I'm strictly against it on principle, to be honest.

There's so many good plugin/software makers out there, I'd rather support the guys who do the right thing even if it means missing out on the occasional gem. Stillwell Audio and Reaper are particularly good examples. Plus, I'm on an extraordinarily tight budget most of the time so I generally use freeware.

And isn't it an Eventide H3000 type thing? I'd call it a chorus. What's the verdict?

Haven't tried it out yet, just signed up for it so I get the license before it finishes being free I worked 2-10pm yesterday, 6-10:15am this morning and am back in at 5 tonight 'til 10pm so I'm just chilling at the moment so I have energy left tonight.

And I'm sure you could automate it to work as a chorus, but it's a widening tool using small shifts in timing/phase/pitch, with three different algorithms/styles. The H3000 thing was part of the competition, from what I remember reading, although one of the two styles they recreated (only one is an original creation of theirs) could well be part of the H3000... they just said that two of them are recreations of classics. Then again, I was barely awake when reading it all

I totally respect that. Like I've said above, I've had problems with other modes of online activation whereas with an iLok, I've never had an issue. Even if it breaks, with their Zero Downtime Coverage, you can pop a new one in and go right away and they send you a brand new one free.

Anyways, downloaded, onto the iLok and I'll test it out here in a few

The "right thing," how?

Just because a company chooses to make their software secure through a third party USB device and service makes them immoral?

I've heard so many people complain about iLok over the years and not a single person has ever presented an argument that actually made any sense

Hell, cost doesn't even need to be a factor as a lot of developers are including the iLok in packages for free or only a bit more.
