hi guys im really sorry i don't know where to post this on UG but i know the community here is really nice and i was hoping you'd help me out...
Last night at 3am i heard a car screech through my street. then a minute later i heard it speed out. this morning my 2 best guitars were gone.
Please been on the lookout for a shecter damien diamond series 6 string
This one has autographs on it from black tide. The easiest one to spot is a heart with a G in the middle signed near the bottom of the body.

The other is a Jackson Warrior with the Floyd Rose bridge

both are black. I worked extremely hard for these guitars so please any kind of help would be beyond appreciated. Thank you guys for reading.

Here's some pics of what to look out for. I was like 18 years old when these were taken so I look a bit corny lol. But please look out for that Schecter with signatures!

Yup. Contact local guitar and pawn shops and give them a heads up. Even better if you have a photo to show about the easily spottable details like the autograph.

Really sorry bro, it's takes a real scumbag to take someone's instrument. If you're like me and get really attached to them.

From what I've learned... Avoid using cases/gigbags with logos on (i.e. Gibson USA in big letters is just asking to have it nicked), try not to leave stuff in your car whenever you can. I get way too paranoid of my stuff at gigs that someone will steal a pedal off the board or something.

Usually threads like these include pictures of said gear. You should get some pics up. Also keep your eye on craigslist. My guess is that if they try to sell this gear it won't be in Long Island. You need to expand your search for most of the NYC area. Additionally, you can use the Look Up link in my sig to search craigslist and such very easily. Also, post on this on some of the other forums (HCAF, Rig-Talk, etc).


But yeah, where was your gear located relative to where you were sleeping?

Correct. I got home at 12AM on the dot. 15 minutes later I heard a car screech in, but not the window breaking. Then like half a second later I hear the car speed away. It didn't even sound like it was in front of my house. I was astonished when I woke up this morning I knew I should have just looked out the window but I didn't. worst thing that's ever happened to me I worked so hard for those guitars.

Thanks for the quick search I've been checking every hour but like you said not just on Long Island. And also I doubt he'll just put it up today, unless he's some junky and needs cash fast. My gear was in the car when I was walking around the house. Just a mere 20 feet from my front window where the shades were closed. This guy was fast. In out, bam
