You shouldn't assume you know everything about someone from how they present themselves, but to say that things like interests, jobs, fashion and style, tastes etc etc don't say anything at all about a person is just plain bollocks. Of course you can know things about someone from "superficial" things.
Don't jump to massive conclusions and accept that what you think something says about someone might not be actually what it says about them and you're fine. |

I judge everyone
 I Don't judge them for things like being gay(read: having a mlp avatar) or things like that. But I'll judge them on how they act and how they look. It's human nature, It's what keeps us alive for example: If I meet you on the streets, I don't care who you are I'll be friendly to you. but I won't let my guard down easily if you've got a trench coat and a beer in your hands. And people say 'don't judge a book by its cover' And to some extent that's true (e.g. your first opinions aren't always correct) but the entire reason books have covers, Is so we can judge them.

I always try not to judge people, but the cop thing is kind of a weird one for me. I don't hate all police, but I think choosing to go into a career where you put yourself into a position of arbitrary authority above others says something about a person.
