The only thing that can even try to hold a candle to Star Trek is Star Wars' expanded universe. Even still, Star Trek is so so so much better.

never seen star trek but it seems extremely lame.
but on the other hand Star Wars is pretty lame too. I kind of like the story of Anakin though although it might be fairly poorly executed in the movies.
