Im not sure if bringing this up will help or if i have to make a New thread but ill try.

im gettin ready to retube. I already have a set of new winged c el34 power tubes that im just going to use since power tubes are expensive.

these are tung sol pre amp eqquipped from the factory but i was wondering is playing around with the pre amp section would.. maybe ad some wet to the dry.

I know I know these amps are dry gain signiture not saturated but it would be cool to see what i can do ya know.

was thinking shuguang c9 in v1 and tung sol throughout the rest?
