My Band's 1960's inspired EP

Hey! My band's going to be releasing this EP soon, looking for some opinions on what we've got. Think Beatles, Byrds, Cream, Floyd, etc.

http://soundcloud.com/servoband

I used a Behringer Xenyx x1204 mixer (NO multitracking), 2 Shure SM57's, an Audio Technica AT2050, and Nuendo 4 as a DAW. Hobo as f***.

I am fully aware of the clipping bits here and there. I worked countless hours doing the absolute best I could with what I had.

What do you think?

Lol, Surrey BC.

Is the bass player really named crouton? Like the salad item?

Sound quality is pretty good. Did you record in a studio. Sounds more like the other bands mentioned, but not Pink Floyd.

Yeah yeah I call the good ol' slums of Surrey my home. The other guys are all from Langley. We practice out in the sticks so we never get noise complaints! Couldn't do that in Surrey ha ha.

Well, Crouton is his nickname. Exactly like the salad item ha ha.

We recorded it in Crouton's basement. No soundproofing/treatment at all. It has a low ceiling and a brick floor.

All You Ever Dreamed is the one that gets the most "sounds like Pink Floyd" reactions.

I thought those tracks were pretty good. If you just had a few more hooks guitar wise some of those songs could be really really good. I thought "don't matter anymore" was very rolling stones ish and had a good vibe. Altogether pretty damn good man
