it's amazing that people don;t realize with an investment of a couple of hundred bucks you do pretty much anything with just a mac. Sure, the song is sappy, but I think it's a pretty good example of multi tracking.

It's not bad, but GarageBand won't ever take the place of a decent DAW. The piano's sound good, i thought the bass was a bit overbearing, or might be my crazy bass heavy headphones, and the guitars aren't anything to get carried over. Regardless, it can do good things

Well, it's not a guitar based song and the bass was intentionally mixed up front. If you have setting that further boost bass, it'll come off as over bearing. None of those things have anything to do with the equipment.
