My "Stack"

I am still shopping for one more thing, ya right. But seriously, an amp head to go with my "new" cab. An Avatar 2x12 loaded with Celestion Vintage 30's. If you're not familiar with Avatar cabs, they make some very nice ones. Top quality, all sides 3/4" birch ply. Mine is a closed back. But they do make a conversion board for a partially open back if you so desire. On top is my Randall 50 watt all tube combo amp, which of course is plugged into the cab. Sound is brutal, cant wait to get one of the new Randall RG's, solid state, super high gain, fet. Randall says they are going "back to thier roots" with the RG series. And at only $300 for the 100 watt head, it's a deal.

Probably getting the Randall I mentioned. I don't really have a budget, but I can't see myself paying more than $600 for any new head. Because I am not looking at tube heads, just high gain SS heads. Where do I live? Why? I live in Michigan, Lansing Michigan, in a very nice house across from the park.

if you want solid state randall buy an RG100ES. i have owned two. one needed a cap job bad so i sold it, the other one i can't remember any more, but i didn't have it long.

there was a nice looking one at a used gear store by my house for $150 with footswitch (which is kind of necessary if you want to change channels).

century 200's are good too. i have a mint Century 100watt 1x12" combo. not bad either.

What you need is a new amp.

I only "showed off" a little though. Didnt include my other 6 amps and 9, or is it 10 guitars in the picture! But I did want to show off my ultra cool hand carved Jaguar that guards my gear.
