Question Need help identifying this guitar

So my grandpa just came home with this. Itís from his lady friend. It is at LEAST 80 years old from what my grandpa told me, extremely beat up. There are even indentations on the fret board at the top. Some parts of the body are coming undone as well. Also the fret board is not attached at all but by that string.

I want to find out information about it but I donít know where to start. It has no identification on it what so ever.

It also has a wooden peg for your strap, which I have never seen before.

Large images under the spoiler.

Any help would be great! If it's a piece of crap oh well. If there is no way of really telling then that's fine too! Just thought I'd give it a shot!
Thanks! (Also I'm new so if I'm doing something wrong let me know)

Hi looks like a fairly cheap guitar judging by the painted on binding & around the sound hole also the fret markers look painted on as well. If you were going to do anything with it I would suggest that any fixing would be only for the adventure.... But as a piece of memorabilia it would make a great wall hanging, but that's about all.
