3 Months off and ready to jump back in!

Hey UG! I took about a 3 month break from playing, being that since before the break I wasn't playing as much as I used to, so I was starting to pick up some bad habits that was hindering my playing, and I was just tired of hearing myself. I feel like I'm ready to get back to it, do you guys have any suggestions on how I should go about warming back up to the three month loss. Also, is taking 3 months off gonna kill me or anything? I've just never took such a break before so I'm just wondering what you guys think. Thanks a ton!

I've been playing for about 15 years and I take long breaks all the time. You won't make much progress like that, but IMO you never really forget what you've learned...the muscle memory is still there, just gotta shake off the cobwebs. Don't worry about it; just have fun

play music and not lame scales and you'll slowly learn how to make sounds come out of your instrument that sound like music and you won't hate yourself enough to quit again
