strings buzzing

Hi folks.

I have a problem with my Jackson Dinky. The strings are buzzing and it is quite unpleasant. It is mainly, or possible only on the three thicker strings. I do not notice it through an amp but when I record with a DI it shows up and sounds horrible, ruining my guitar sound. It can be heard acoustically to.

I can already confidently tell you it is not fret buzz caused by the strings being to close to the frets. Firstly because I have had fret buzz like that before, know how to test it and have tested it. But also because I have my action quite high compared to most people.

The guitar feels and looks fine.

Do you have any ideas of what could be causing this?

Thanks in advanced
