You are now cheering for a team with a National Championship level defense and a Pop Warner level offense.

It's gonna be a long year most likely, but I have hope they'll do something memorable

I like Dantonio as a coach. It's only a matter of time before they do something. I mean, besides making it to the Capital One Bowl every other year.

I'm used to that from years of rooting for NFL teams captained by Kyle Boller.

Could anyone recommend an android app to keep up with all the games? I'm in Ireland so I don't get good news coverage since they changed my TV package and I don't get ESPN anymore

I've heard that teams fake injuries to slow down the no-huddle, but I've never actually seen the proof. Jeez.

That's disgusting. They should be penalized for that. What is this, the damn NBA?

Apparently Leonard Floyd got hit in the nuts on the previous play and he called to the bench before keeling over. Not saying he didnt put on a bit of a show but i dont think its as blatent as people are making it out to be.

He looked totally fine. He and then #5 looked over to the bench, waited for the call, and then #5 pushed him to the ground and pointed out his "injury." I can't take a shot to the nuts and then wait for a call to determine if it hurts like hell.

Yeah, I just saw that clip:

It seems pretty plausible to me that adrenaline or whatever kept him from noticing the pain until the next play. I had a pretty bad injury in a baseball game a few years ago and I didn't notice it until a few pitches later, so after seeing that I'm prone to believe he wasn't flopping (though he may have embellished a bit).

I don't pin most of the bowl losses on Dantonio either. They always get mismatched with obviously superior teams like when they had to play Alabama, Texas Tech (which could have been won considering 14 players were suspended/expelled and it was close until the end), a Matt Stafford and Knowshon Moreno-led Georgia, and a Matt Ryan led Boston College. But they did manage to squeak out wins against Georgia and TCU so that was nice.

His biggest problem is he can't recruit offensive talent worth a damn.

That's the problem with Wisconsin as well.

Nebraska has the opposite problem it seems.
