What scale did you use for the solo?

I used the pentatonic. It might have a few notes added but its roughly based on that

- I like the chord progression
- bass needs more counterpoint
- I thought the solo was a bit too loud in the mix
- that drum loop leaves much to be desired, it could use some varying and some more complicated patterns perhaps

Nice riffs in the song. Not too loud in my book. Just turn the volume down. I had no problem with the chord progression. My only issue is the song just needs a vocal to complete it. Nicely done.

Would you critique "The Dance"?

Thanks for your feed back.

I have never even played bass before this recording so I tried to keep it simple. Me and a singer/guitar player are still looking for a bassist I was just trying to get down good clean recordings for examples. We also need a drummer and I know that the drum track is literally nothing more than just a fancy click in this song. I think the solo was around 1db higher in the mix, i can adjust it down.

caw1,
Tasty guitar rhythm riffs (could be tighter at times). Some good vocals would be nice. Electric bass works fine, though could be tighter at times. Lead guitar needs some work, but has potential. Please review my music at this link:
