NEW ORIGINAL - Love101/Go Baby Go

This is a cross between Black Sabbath and Little ol lady from Pasadena .....John Wayne opens the song and all hell breaks loose from there .....I used my Crybaby wah in the open position as a notch filter for the lead solo ....Yepper

Brilliant song! I love how the feeling of the song changed at 54 seconds in, caught me off guard in a good way. You have a talent for changing it up vocally as well as musically through the whole song and still making it hold together. It puts me in the mood to watch Waynes World too for some reason lol.
I'm pretty new to the whole recording thing, how did you make your vocals sound like that (effect wise)?

If you would be so kind, would you crit mine?

p.s. I already know my vocals are crap lol

My voice is already trench deep so a little reverb goes a looong way.....I always double my vocal track and keep one pristine and play with the other (EQ, reverb, sometimes a slight delay)....By singing 2 separate vocal tracks (instead of a simple copy/ paste doubling), it gives the vocals an analogue feel and the slight differences between the 2 creates the definition I covet most.....This also works very well when I sing a harmony part ...I critiqued yer song in yer own thread ....Nice

XF2,
I will now review your music, if you promise to not blow my head off. Everything sounds mono, or rather close to mono for the first ~90 seconds. Glad it gets 'more stereo' during the chorus. I like the vocal intro. I like the guitar riffs & playing. Vocals are good. Good songwriting/amusing. Perhaps you could review my music at this link:

Not too bad, I liked the Big Jake opening. I went to a few places, I didn't expect it to, but it was cool.

The hardcore/ koolio-deluxe crowd will recognize the sound dubs during the lead solo as being from Austin Powers and Don't be a menace to south Central.....Ahhhh yes, the power of imports
