Hey Fastiticalon, have you listened to Procession's new album? Needless to say, it is the dog's bollocks, and you need to get on that shit right away. Here, let me link you to some songs.

Ataraxie - L'Etre et la Nausee needs to be added to the Doom section.

It's fucking outstanding.

Checking out Gris now! Really, really good stuff! Thanks guys.

Edit: Gris's music (the acoustic guitars) reminds me of the music of Assassins Creed II. I'm I weird? Sans the vox of course.

Is anyone here interested in the new !T.O.O.H.! album? I didn't even know they had a new album til a half hour ago when I heard they were giving it away on their Facebook page. It sounds really bizarre.

A few more releases that didn't catch much attention:

http://rangerheavymetal.bandcamp.com/album/combat-metal
Plaga - Magia Gwiezdnej Entropii (arguably my favourite release of this year, up there with Satan and Rituaal)
Acherontas - Amenti - Ψαλμοί Αίματος και Αστρικά Οράματα
Brutality - Ruins of Humans (Deicide worship, thanks to Ricky for this one, I didn't even connect them as the guys who made Screams of Anguish)
Manii - Kollaps
Nightbringer/Dodsengel split (I completely forgot this came out this year, top ten)
Situs Magus - Le Grande Ouvre
Deggial - Confronted With Deggial's Wrath
Nordvrede - Monument Viktoria
Symptom - Opulent Atrocity (Seriously, any fan of murky, condemning, person crushing death metal, get on this)

show

It's.... Different.... Like. The composition seems metal, but the instruments sound like a guitar pro file. And it's all clean singing

Yes sir! Love Symptom's output this year. Can't wait to hear more from them. I don't think their recent stuff was as good as their prior EPs, but no complaints other than that. Still what a crushing act they are.

Nope. After thinking it would have been better, it ended up being mediocre at best. Some fellow on the NWN! forum brought up this band pertaining to the new T.O.O.H. album:

http://duobetichomunkulus.bandcamp.com/

and they're quite good.

Yeah it's pretty neat, I definitely enjoyed it for the very short album it was.

Vasaeleth available for purchase. I like it. Not bad, not over the top fascinating, but at least a worthy listen.
