deciding on pickups for my guitar project

What kind of pickups would be best for a jangly jaguar tone in a strat? I looked online but couldn't find much on jaguar pickups besides the Seymour Duncan ones are a 6.8k bridge and a 6.5k neck...would I just choose something around there for the pickups that I get and be on my merry way? I would just get jaguar p'ups, but they're a bit expensive and I'm not looking to spend any more than 100 dollars on the three pickups (currently looking at guitarfetish since it's pretty inexpensive and one of my guitars has pickups from there)

Thanks

GFS retrotron might be worth looking at
If it has single coils, the Brighton rock pickups could work for you
