Songs / Bands that play in C# Standard/Drop C

I kind of feel like a twat for asking this question but i am anyways.

I'm after almost exclusively bands in the metal genre (no doom metal awful shit with tremolo picking for 6 minutes). Lately I've been listening to bands like Between the Buried and Me, August Burns Red, The Human Abstract, Killswitch Engage etc. More of the progressive type of metal.
I consider myself an intermediate - advanced guitarist and can play 95% of things i hear. I'm looking for any bands in a similar style to the ones i listed that play in this tuning. The reason i don't want to deviate too far out of this tuning is because i think i just found the PERFECT string tension when i retuned and restrung my guitar to this tuning. It's an absolute delight to play my guitar right now the way the strings feel.
I've been really focusing on my alternate picking a lot lately, trying to cultivate my strengths etc so anything with lots of alternate picking would be a bonus. My biggest weakness is definitely my legato so anything with excessive legato could be an interesting challenge also.

Thanks in advance

Just a note... the first statement is pretty ignorant (and inaccurate as doom metal rarely used tremolo picking) and the second state is also pretty inaccurate as well...

But anyway...

There is a decent list of bands by tuning thread in the Metal subforum.

Ah thank you sir. You are a life saver

EDIT: Okay so I'd heard of Wintersun quite a bit before but never really listened to them, and I'm now 20minutes into their 'Time I' album and am utterly speechless. I officially bow down to you for getting me into this band.

Check these bands out too:

- Anata (I would recommend you start with the album "The Conductor's Departure")
- Demonoid (I made a tab for "Wargods", I think the solos were recorded in standard tuning, but the rest is in C# standard)

If you ever go into C-standard, you should check out High On Fire.
