Is it possible to be innovative in Blues Rock anymore?

So....

Is it possible to be innovative in Blues Rock anymore?

The last forward-thinking blues rock artist I can think of was Stevie Ray Vaughan

White Stripes kind of implemented blues into their garage rock, too.

But yeah, is it possible? How would they innovate? Know any recent examples?

thanks!

Definitely. Traditional blues is where the question lies. Can you do anything new in that genre? Tough.
