We're playing in a pub on Saturday, a pretty good one.

I'll try to record something this week if I can.

An update.

New modules. Yay! I have kept the Randall Tweed module but the other two slots have Salvation Mods modules now.

Slot 2 is his Mash-all+ module. It gives me plexi, Jose mod, 2203 and JVM tones. I've had it for a while and used it at gigs, it lives on the 2203 setting really. Very cool module. Like it lots.

Slot 3 has his Markus module. It is a Mesa Mark module. It arrived today so I haven't really put it through its paces properly yet but it is definitely Mark tones - and as hard to dial in as a real Mark too. I've even pulled a passable Recto tone out of it, not that I'd ever use Recto tones.

So now I have Fender, Marshall and Mesa tones in one amp without having to resort to any digital bullshit.

Sitting on top is the rack I am currently building. I will be staining it ebony in the next day or three.

Congrats! Is it based off the Mark V? Love the Clean there, different from the Lonestar (which has a very nice Clean, too).

Another module I use regularly in another RM100 is a Super V. It's a seriously hotrodded AC30 module. Has real Marshall overtones to it but Voxy sorta cleans when you roll off the guitar volume. I considered getting one for myself but went for the Markus instead. Voodoo labs do a modified version of the Super V too which was very tempting.

It isn't really a Mark V. It doesn't have the clean channel. I knew that when I ordered it. I wanted Carlos Santana lead tones and it does a pretty good job of that. He also make a Lonestar module if Mesa cleans are what you are after. I have the Tweed for my cleans - I wanted saturated lead tones so I grabbed the Markus.

Damn. I might have to start keeping an eye out for an used RM100. I'd use it exactly for that.

Yeah, I didn't think it worth starting a whole new thread for a couple of modules. It seemed to me like it was more of a conclusion to the NAD. It's how I want it now. Fully set up and ready to go. I may buy more modules in the future but it would just be an indulgence really and I have other things to buy. HD500X next; to replace the rack, but that will have to wait 'til next year. I'll just enjoy what I've got for a while.
Oh, and I'm driving it all with that Boss MIDI controller you found on gumtree. It's working perfectly.

And chicken heads on the Fender module. I think I like it.

If you sold the rack stuff and the boss midi thing wouldn't that be almost enough cash to get a HD500x?

Not gonna happen. The Quaddy's too useful and I like having the big rack tuner around. I've used that to tune a piano. I can wait. I'm getting a pretty good sound out of it. I'm running the Quadraverb in the parallel loop. I'll have to grab the interface off my bassist and I'll lay down some clips. It aint bad, aint bad at all. I can live with it.

That's pretty cool Cath

But wouldn't the dumble module be basically the same as the Fender with a added boost

That's a hell of a versatile setup. I didn't know you had the Marsh-All too. Fender cleans, Marshall crunch, Mesa leads? Does it get better than that?

Always had a soft spot for these amps. I kind of like that the modules were not "Spot on" to what they were replicating. Makes it have its own thing going on rather than just being a replica of every amp. Very HNAD to you.
