Scott Henderson's pickups solution

Hi guys, I've recently bought a Suhr Scott Henderson guitar (from 2004) and I noticed that this guitar has 2x Suhr JST V60LP and Suhr JST V60LP Not-Hot in the bridge. Do you guys know why Scott wanted to have a less rock pickup in this position? It sounds really akward comparing to neck and middle position and I'm thinking about buying a humbucker.
