Changing strings with a wrap around bridge

I have a Gibson (Maestro) single cutaway electric guitar and I need to replace the strings. Anyone can help?

I'm not sure what kinda bridge it is since my only experience has been with a First Act ME-537 and that's just pre-beginner stuff. Just any advice on how to work the bridge of a Gibson Maestro http://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/...canvasWidth=500

But its a wrap around. isn't there a safer way to change them instead of taking the bridge off completely?

You should just need to take them off the tuning peg cut the curly bit off (that was around the peg, it makes the next part easier) and then feed it through / pull it out of the bridge. The bridge can stay mounted in place...

to re-string, feed the string through from the pick-up side of the bridge (through the hole) and wrap over the top and then up to the tuning peg.

unless this is a very different wrap-around to the ones I've seen...
