Maybe not back to back but Sightseers for sure. I didn't get to talk about this enough after I watched it.

I wanna see the Pusher films too

I actually finished watching Prince Avalanche about 30 minutes ago after it got brought up quite a bit in the old thread.

I liked it, it took me a long time to get into it (and I mean about 50 minutes) but once I got into it I was in. Fantastic acting job by Rudd & Hirsch definitely made the first 50 minutes more tolerable.

I can't say a bad word about Bollywood after they made this terrificly epic chase scene in Dublin:

I also enjoyed Om Shanti Om but it was in a class room and a lot our laughs were directed at the film, rather than with it (or were they?)

Almost 100% of the South Korean movies I've seen are better than almost 90% of Hollywood movies I've seen but that's because I've went out and looked for only the cream of the crop of South Korean movies. If I went digging then I'd be neck deep in pure and utter shite.

The Kings of Summer + Prince Avalanche. Two of the best films of last year, both with great performances and great cinematography, though I'd say The Kings of Summer is a good bit better overall.

Yep. They've done great stuff but I'm willing to bet it's much worse on average

Help my indecisive ass decide what to watch tonight. Choices are:

- Letters from Iwo Jima
- Manhunter
- Pale Rider

Haven't seen any of them before.

Just finished The Life Aquatic. My favourite thing about it is the dude playing Bowie tunes all the time. And Sigur Ros at the end. Defoe was really funny too. Overall I dunno, I think I'd need to watch it again.

I'll let you think about what you just said for a bit so it can sink in a little.

Finally got around to watching Kisaragi after having it lie around for ages. Absolutely fantastic and very 12 Angry Men-ish, if 12 Angry Men was about a C-list Japanese idol fan club that delves into a murder mystery.

It's pretty great stuff, very funny too.
