Blender

I have a mxr bass envelope filter and I was wondering if you can use the pedal after fuzz and other effects and use the dry knob on the pedal in place of a blender pedal to get the clean bass tone in there with all the others or if it would be better to just get an actual blender pedal.

when it says 'dry' it just means the signal that enters the pedal before any of the envelope filter is applied to it. in this case, that will be the fuzzed bass sound. by blending the dry and effect knobs on the envelope filter, you'll be blending the fuzz and the filtered sound together, rather than the dry sound with the fuzzy, filtered sound if that makes sense?

Agreed. Anything you put after a fuzz - as long as the fuzz is turned on - is not going to be clean, unless you are splitting your signal chain.

Would it work if i put the envelope filter before the fuzz or would it not work as well? I read that effects such as an envelope filter are supposed to go after the fuzz.

It's not going to break anything, so just try it and see which you prefer. Personally I'd put the fuzz second.
