How can I control Guitar Rig with foot controller?

Hey guys. So I didn't know whether to put this here or in the recording forums, but here's my question. I'm mostly a recording at home kind of guy now, and I wanted to know if there way some way to control my Guitar Rig with a foot controller so that as I'm tracking, it can turn on and off effects like a distortion or a delay for example, and record me doing that.

Guitar rig has its own "Rig Control" pedal that you can buy.

or if you wanna go cheaper then look at the behringer midi foot controller.

the Rig Control runs via USB. however the Behringer runs via midi and you will need a midi interface to connect to your computer.

Marshall JVM 410H, JCM800 2x12
