Hold your mouse (if you have a wireless one) close to your pickups

A metal slide WAY high, right near the bridge, sounds like R2-D2. Also, the old remote control to the pick-ups trick too.

for one, take a cd player/discman (CD player best for studio recording and the discman is best for live situations.... obviously) put a disc in and let the disc player "load" it. you know the quick spins and the quiet zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz you hear? yeah well, pick ups love that lol.... just hover it over your pickups and let the magic ensue. of course, it's best used with some delay and modulation. volume swells don't hurt either.

Chortle, thats so a "Im stuck in my room jamming to a CD" discovery. I have a CD or two that do this thing where they speed up faster and faster, the motor cuts out, then it starts again, takes the CD player to the point of blowing up (sounds like it), then stops. Got to try THAT!

I have to try these now.

I myself have never tried to make any weird sounds on purpose, but now I'm curious.

You have five minutes to either do so or be banned from electric guitar forever

/me turns his volume to 10, distortion and tone to ten, puts his tongue against the input jack, and rocks his wah back and forth.
