Money, cars, bitches and hustling.

Some of his lyrics are pretty clever, but there's just no depth.

On a p4k scale, I'd give NJ a 9.3, and WWK a 8.8. Heems is so aggressive on pretty much every track (btw the first two songs are the worst on the whole tape so don't be discouraged.)

It's reeeaaally good. He sounds so pissed off on a lot of the songs (think Alien Gonzalez), and I never thought I'd hear a Horatio Alger referenced in a rap song.

EDIT - I got mixed up in my last post, the first and third songs are the worst, Cowabunga Gnarly is awesome.

I still need to check out the Joey Bada$$ (I heard one track on last.fm and loved it), Schoolboy Q, and Billy Woods

What are your guys' favorite releases of the year?

So far I've got Kendrick Lamar's GKMC, Killer Mike's RAP Music but need to listen to others. Looking forward to Captain Murphy's Duality due out about now. Really liked Joey Bada$$'s Survival Tactics but fantano said that the music videos were the best tracks on the album, so no rush I guess.

Not too big on most albums out this year but admittedly it did produce a lot of ridiculously good tracks

Yeah, he's 17 or something

In regards to my previous post, Captain Murphy's mixtape is out, and it's released as a short, propaganda-styled film. Pretty neat.
[It turns out there's mutilation on tentacle sex on it]

I'm looking for some good gansta rap that's totally violent and shit. Something recent enough so the production is clean, but yeah.

I know nothing about rap, but I feel like listening to some right now.

That's that shit I don't like.

R.A.P was good but Joey Bada$$ is only ok imo. I want to know Rev's list seeing as he's all too kool for kendrick and shit.
