To the guy that suggested Wonderwall, i wouldn't recommend it. As muc of a classic that song is, if you sing it to a girl she may fall asleep or get bored of it. It's not the kind of song you'd sing to a girl.

Romanza

it's a song without lyrics and it's classical.
very good and very nice.
it is an arpeggio type of song in case you never heard of it.

try it.
Romanza means romance.
it's the perfect song to show off your guitar playing skills.

Thumbs up

You'll definately be in with some slick finger-picking, but some smooth strumming and serenading vocals work just as well.

-Finger-picking-

Romanza
Ryan Cabrera - True
Jason Mraz - Unfold
Extreme - More Than Words
John Mayer - Your Body Is A Wonderland, Comfortable
Don McClean - Vincent
Fleetwood Mac - Landslide
Beatles - Here Comes the Sun, Blackbird

-Strumming-

Howie Day - Collide
Pete Murray - So Beautiful
Vertical Horizon - Best I Ever Had
Dashboard Confessional - Shirts & Gloves
Damien Rice - Cannonball, Delicate
Eagles - Best of My Love
The Early November - Ever So Sweet
