Upto ONLY Red Hot Chili Peppers General Discussion & Questions Thread
They are my favourite band and have been since the first time I heard them. They seemed to get better and better with every new release. Then after the bst album ever (Californication) they made by the way. I still like by the way but compared to californication, it felt a bit timid. Also does anybody know when the new album will be appearing. I have heard talks of it being delayed? Any opinions on any of these things welcome!

i prefer the older chili pepper stuff... more funky, i heard the new album is gonna be funky.... i wouldnt say he couldnt sing, he just had a different style

there good it just annoys me how people big them up as the best band ever because there not i mean greenday are supposidly the best band ever this year and i dunno wtf that is about next year it'll be McFly..... so stupid

Good band. They have their own sound (yes I'm aware their sound has changed over the years) and good songs.

I have to disagree with the two of you. John is a good guitarist. He has his own sound and putting a lot of feeling into his playing but he's not amazing. Anthony is a good singer but nothing special.

Flea, however, is incredibly talented. Chad Smith is quite good too but not on the same level of talent as Flea.

i love both styles honestly i like it more when they perform the old stuff. i have a vid of them performing Police Helicopter during the Californication era and it's freaking amazing. they have really evolved into this amazing band with vey talented members. even if someone hates the peppers, they always give at least one of the members props. the RHCP and RHCP fans are like none other.
